Mike's 200g

Starting to do some cool things

A new frag, lost Some of the peach it had in the tips... Hopefully it gets them back when starts growing.

This one I am not very happy with its color. I feel it could do so much better.

Looks great, and focussed. I love the wide mouth polyps on the green one, my subulata does the same thing before branching into 2 polyps.

A few more

This little frag has lost yellow in the tips. It is there in the entrusting growth though. I'm hoping when he decides to grow verticle they will come back.

This one is kinda interesting but just not getting fully colored.

And finally a piece I am really liking at the moment. I think with more light it will get a better pink in the body... But those yellow tips are starting to come pretty nice.

Ok finally all done. Hopefully you enjoyed them.

Whoa! What a photobomb. Absolutely gorgeous, Mike. So many nice healthy corals.
Stunning pearlberry and I really love that blue loaner frag.
You've really dialed things in.
Nice!!

Great set of photos Mike, love the last one also, I think it's probably my favorite of the bunch for sure.

Yeah the last one is CJs pinky. Like I say I think with more light it would get even better. However, I don't have any spots higher up on the reef to put it.
I will be upping the light on the entire reef soon though. Currently with my retrofit t5s they sit lower from the canopy then the radions. Meaning some of the radion light must be getting blocked and shaded by the t5 fixtures themselves. What I am going to do is find a way to suspend the at the same level as the t5 bulbs (2 inches lower) this way no light will be getting blocked by either ficture, and par will be increased everywhere. After that I may increase my radion intensity a little more too. I will like to get a little closer to 400 par on the upper corals just to see if it can pull better colors. I will also have the frag tank with an 8 bulb t5 fixture that should be capable of putting out very high par over a 10 inch deep tank so I can see if that high par is really something the acros might enjoy more.
