I have not had a milliporia in a few years and was thinking of getting another one soon.

Just wondering if someof you can post pics of yours to inspire me. (that shouldn't be hard to do)

I know of the pink and green ones. Lets see some extreme polyp extensions and odd colors.

I have pink, yellow, green & blue.

But I can't post them because Daddy Jax already posted.

Yeah, I would feel like I was trying to convince you NOT to get millis if I posted pics after Jax :D

dont mean to hijack yer thread here.. but what is generally the best placement for millies.. high light , high flow area..?

yes pls.. what condition do they like? i have one sapose pink mili.. ( it's brownish for the most part but it's turning a really bright pink in some spots...) and how do you guys get them to have such nice PE??

My experience is really limited with this one, but so far it appears to be happy with moderate flow, and moderate/high light.

Mine get more dense branching in higher flow (left side of this pic has more flow):

Lets keep em coming. Getting really close now. Maybe this weekend will be a good time to get one.

Daddyjax: The yellow is stunning and the polyp extension on the green is amazing.

Dailydriven: The polyps are insane in the figi.

Keep it up guys looking great.

DaddyJax, what the heck do you do to get color like that? I'm sure you're sick of being asked that, but what gives??? :D (Seriously...what lights, etc.)?

It isn't lighting, I would bet he has stumbled across something in his travels that produces coloration like that. My guess would be a certian protein or amino acid.

Its not like his tank is just one or two shades better than the average reefer, its like a whole other color chart away from where we are.

I'd be suprized if he shared his secret. ;)

250G the color on those millies is incredible. The yellow and pink is one of the nicest millis I've seen.
