A few more of my anemones. Some how I never added my Magnifica to my anmeones. I still have the Purple with Yellow tipped Magnifica. The Yellow Magnifica died when I added a sick Purple with Purple tipped Magnifica anemone to the tank 6 or 7 years ago.

I am sure you've been asked this question before. What camera do you use to take your pictures?

I use a Canon Rebel T1i. There are several lenses that I use depends on the situation.

What are some tips that you have found in keeping your Anemone's. Is there some does and don't that you have found?

It's depends on the anemone species. If you let me know which species you want to keep i and other anemone keepers here will help out more specific then stable water parameters and able to keep them there

Hopefully your able to see my pics. One pic is how my anemone looks now (nice) and the other is the way he looks mostly after feeding. Then he poofs back up and turns his normal color.

I just picked him up 3 days ago at the LFS. 1st anemone for me. Looked healthy. They said they had it for a month or so. He was the last one and I know that shipment they had a couple.
He instantly attached himself to where I put him. he then began to slide behind the rocks. I then moved him and the rock he was attached to, to another area with the same flow he was going towards so, I could keep an eye on him for now. He has never completely detached from that rock yet. I know that's a great sign for anemones but good with his foot. What about him melting then going back to the way he was? He doesn't appear to lose the melting tenticule things. I can't tell if this is normal. I just fed him a lil since it didn't look like he ate anything yesterday. His tenticules didn't come together like I thought they were supposed to to keep food in his mouth.. it looks to me like his mouth has been open since I brought him home. That's the only reason why I tryed to feed him. Currently his mouth still seems open a bit. I do have another pic of that too. And this feeding time, only a couple inner tenticules "melted". He looks perfectly fine now with a slight gaping mouth. Any ideas?
Not to go on forever but the LFS told me he wasn't an actual anemone? That's why he was $10..? What anemone is this? I've researched it. There are a lot of conflicting views. And I haven't read anywhere about the base being purplish like this...?
