Minimalist Aquascaping

Hello,

I love these topics.
It´s the only time one can see nicelly aquascaped tanks all together.

Here´s my humble participation; 30g rimless tank:

great thread.... can't wait to redo my rock. I plan on taking some out of the display and placing it in the sump now to keep the bio going. I will have to post some pics for sure.

I love it

Dude I would have to say this is my favorite pic in this whole thread. Wonderful use of such small space!!
Keep up the great work!

I guess i'll cross-post my tank to this thread on the recommendation of another forum member... it's a 57 gallon rimless oceanic:

I'm not sure if I fall into this category but I just re-did my aquascape and took out about 50lbs+ of rock out. Hence, the cloudy water. Also, I'm still in the middle of scrapping off coraline off the glass.... lol

Here is an updated pic of mine (not cycling). Should look better in a few months after it starts to fill in and frags start growing.

Thats it I can't take it anymore..... its time to rip out my rock, **** off all my coral, and redo the rock to make the coral and me, mainly me, more happy with the rock....LOL

Way to go Fireworm. You wont be sorry. It will completely change the appearance of your entire aquarium. Too many people just stack rock in a pile that is very unatractive. If you put a corvette kit on a vw, its still a vw underneath.

LOL. I like minimal rock too, only have 15lbs in my 35g and even though everyone is screaming at me to add more I'm just going to wait so I don;t have to go through what you're feeling in the future!

Alright, didn't get to it toady like I wanted. Had our club meeting today and had to put the new frags in the tank when I got home and hang out with a couple from the club. After a few drinks and a few hours of talking tank, I still didn't get it done.

I am thinking doing a horseshoe type shape and maybe using some PVC and zip ties to try to lock it all in together.

^ very clean. I like it. I just wished coraline didn't grow on the overflows. Mine are covered and there's no point on trying to scrap it off. oh well.
