Minimalist Aquascaping

Also not sure if I qualify, but this is after a major clean up :D

Super clean, Cristian. I suggest you consider making your rockwork offset with your tank....and not have things centered and equidistant....to give it a more natural look.

Christian - I like the clean look. Nice aquascape. I think it looks fine, but not sure how you would make it off set unless you had another 2' of space.

Funny you should comment on the centered look. For some stupid reason I am very symmetrical. I wish I weren't, especially in this hobby, but it's a quirk of mine.

But.... I am actually changing out the left pile of rocks for a new pile. Maybe I can sucker my symmetrical half into making a change. ;)

This actually looks like a real cave to me from this angle!

Excuse the dirty glass I am in the process of cleaning that.

holy smokes. That... is the most expensive setup i've seen so far... granted im a nub... but there sits a truck note.

I have a question about minimal scaping.... Since there's less rock in the display does that mean there's a need for rock in the sump?

Oh, and here's my new build..any suggestions on the scaping welcome.

Thanks.

... yes I made the rock :) will be adding sand this weekend, and still building my light fixture.
