Minimalist Aquascaping

I'm digging the multi-leveled mounds.

I thought Elegance corals don't like direct light.

Ive tried it in a few places with low light and it likes that spot the best. It is a varocious eater. 4 silversides no prob in one feeding. I wish the pic could show the scapes depth but it doesnt. Its acctually 4 mounds.

THESE ARE ALL GREAT TANKS!!!
when i set up my 220 this will help me decide how i design my rock scape
minimal is going to be the way i do it instead of one big pile of rock
i like the progression pics of bare rocks then see just how great they look when its all grown in!

This thread has really helped me out in my aquascaping ideas lately. Again I don't know if mine is considered minimalist. I just reaquascaped and here's the outcome...

Tell me what you think!

He's doing good. I bought him before I new what size tank they like. (I have learned A LOT since then!) He doesn't seem to mind the size, although he has got ick three times since I put him in probably from stress. He's the reason I wanted to go with open aquascaping. Other than the ick he's done really well.

Here is what mine looked like when I first set it up

I went to Reef-A-Paloza last weekend and have some more pieces to add to the rockwork now. :-)

I decided to go with the minimalist approach on my new 120 i set up a few months ago. i like the look better and it allows more room for corals to grow. here's a pic from a few weeks ago of my minimalist aquascaping. i'll get an updated pic here in the next few days.

Nick, that's a nice looking setup with a lot of potential.
Might want to give the Tunzes a nice little vinegar bath though ;)
