I can't wait to try this again. I have been out of the hobby for over a year, and on Saturday I get a new tank to play with.

I am going to do a 75. I am thinking no more than 50lbs of rock at best. I have a great local club and can get rock off a few of the guys in it, or I might just start off with all dead rock from BRS, and let it go and see what happens.

Pics to follow soon i hope

Here is my 40 breeder. Water going in tomorrow. I will be replacing the rock on the bottom right with a piece of two of "live" rock to seed. Going to be BB SPS.

hi i dont know if anybody has asked this but, how the bottom of your glass white?
thanks :)

I realized something today... I started this thread over 2 years ago, and haven't posted ONE pic the entire thread. :o

My tank has been setup for about 1 year and has gone through many changes. Here's where we are now: a few small fish, 2x haddon's carpet anemones, one clam, one frogspawn, and one piece of SPS. I've decided to slowly add some more corals and a few fish, such as anthias, cardinals, etc.

Please excuse the horrible picture...

..I have no idea why the back of the tank is coming out blue and white.. must be my iPhone (and my complete ignorance with photography ) in "real life" the background is a solid blue color..

Wow there are some really amazing tanks in this thread. Just getting back in the hobby after a two year break. This gives me some great ideas on my new build.

i would like to rescape my 40 breeder to a minimalistic look but wouldnt know where to begin, will post pics when i get home and hopefully u guys can give me some advice on what pieces of rocks i can get rid off
