Minimalist Aquascaping

I posted on this thread a while back, but my tank has since changed and I added more rock and went with the "dual island" look for my cube...

I'm loving this thread thread!

I just looked trew the whole thing. Read some of it and looked at all the pics! I'm starting an upgrade from a 55 to a 75 and I will be taking several of the styling points from most of these tanks. Thank you guys for the inspiration.
 
Consider this definition of minimalisitic
"A moderate approach to the achievement of a set of goals
Being or offering no more than what is required or essential"
 
Here is my attempt at minimalist aquascaping. Of course, I expect it to look better when it has, you know, actual corals and fish!

Here is my first shot at this. Its for my 300 gallon system I'm working on getting up and going (upgrading from a 28g nano lol). For a perspective, the tank is 6' long and 3' wide.

Let me know what you think.
