Maybe you might want to buy "Corals of the World" it is a little dated but has most every montipora in it and even many that are not imported.

Looks like Chili Pepper But 10 times brighter!

So far Im lookin at about $2,000 for 50 corals although I can get some of these guys for $15 $20 at the local frag swaps and off of RC!

I think I have listed Rainbow and Purple Rim but not Elkhorn Montipora
German Blue Polyp Digitata Neon Green Digitata.I would try to get pics but cant get them from ReefFarmers with out issues!

are not most of those made up names just basically a dozen plus or so species of montipora?

heck, i tried googling a few and the PEOPLE SELLING THEM just say sp. one would think they
could take a bit more effort and tell me what it is exactly at their insanely rare asking
prices.

then they argue about lineage in forums... back and forth...

i would be more impressed by 20-25 verifiable and confirmed different species of montipora
in the same tank and worry about color after that was achieved ;-)

i guess i aint trendy enough to recognize them all. but then i do not buy zoas for 100 dollars
per polyp either. i am just the wrong market audience.

why not just call it montipora danai (danae) with these characteristics such as color?
and what is amusing is that neither site tries to tell us the species.

assuming i am right here.. that is why i cannot stand made up names. just adds too
much confusion and marketing for my tastes.
