Most Quiet Submerged Pump around 2400 GPH?

I need a new return pump for my tank. My Mag 24 is wearing me out. Great performance, but too loud. I need a new pump with the same performace but more quiet. Suggestions?

There are very few sumbmersible pumps that have that kind of GPH, in fact the mag might be the only one in the hobby. You'd be better off (if it'll work on your setup) plumbing an external pump and probably saving a bunch in electricity.

Edit: Just saw this is for a 150 gal. tank, why are you using such a large return pump?

How much are you looking to spend? The only ones I can think of are the ATB flostars but they're $$$

Or you could go with a stock Laguna 2400...basically the same thing.

red dragon pumps quiet,energy efficient but $$ up front
