MTRC Meeting - Friday Jan 18 6:00PM

There will be a club meeting to help set up for the swap on Friday, January 18 at 6:00PM. The meeting will be at the Swap location (the Pleasant Green Clubhouse in Goodlettsville). Dr. Shimek will be there (I am picking him up at the airport at 5:45) and will give the club a presentation on Laminar Flow. We'll basically put out the tables and power cords and test out the PA system to get things setup for the big event. We will also go over the flow of events and what people need to know who are staffing tables during the swap.

Here is what we need:
1) Please come We need all the help we can get. You'll also get a chance to interact more 1 on 1 with Dr. Shimek and tap his brain on a number of topics.
2) Please Bring the following:
- long 3-prong extension cords
- Duct Tape
- other extension cords and multi-outlet plug thingies
- a smile
- your questions for Dr. Shimek


Please post in this thread if you can come and what you can bring. We need as many extension cords as we can get.

I've been hesitant to volunteer, because I didn't know exactly if I'd be able to make the swap or not....but it's looking good so far. Count me in. Though, I may not be able to get there until 7.

I can probably find at least 2 extension cords.

I don't have any long extension cords, but I have a small one (3 prong) and some extension cords (including GFCI)... so I'll bring those.

I sell extension cords for a living and have no less than 5 at my house available. I also have several power junction boxes. I am not sure if I can make it to the meeting on Friday night, but can meet up with someone who is going to let them take out there.

Fallinapart, can we meet sometime thursday evening so I can give you my cords to take???

or anyone from the BORO/smyrna area going that I can give my cords to?

Crumble, I will be there as early as I can on Saturday to help out and get my stuff setup. how early can we get in on Sat?

Yes, we can meet any place you want to ofter 5 pm, I have physical therapy till then. Just let me know when and where. I live close to MTSU, but can meet anywhere in town.
