Hi,
I love this fish:

If anyone has one, do you know if it's likely to eat xmas tree worms? I also love them lol. And I have a rock full of them. I have a bristle tail file fish in the tank that I believe was picking at them, but stopped (as they did grow back). I make sure 'he' is well fed, and 'he' hasnt picked at anything in the past month. I'm hoping the same would be true for this super pretty angel. It's on sale also :)

The LA link says plain as day "reef compatible with caution" and "omnivore".

I would never risk Christmas tree worms with an angel.

jeese, I know it says that plain as day. It says that about many fish plain as day. Which is why I noted I have a bristele tail file (so far) with no issues, yet. I was asking others' experience.

It's going to be a roll of the dice, IMO. You will have people on both sides of the fence, just like flame angels and bristle tail files. My flame angel hasn't touched a single thing in almost 4 years since I got him. However, I also have a bristle tail file and after clearing some aiptasia, he started targeting LPS (Destroyed one), so I had to move him to my smaller tank. There's a chance you will have to ultimately decide whether you like the fish or the xmas worms more, so just be prepared for that.

Thank you Gimpy. I've seen a lot of that with experiences with Bristletails. I might be lucky with mine or I might be feeding him enough that he's not hungry yet to try something else. I often target feed just him to make sure he's quite full. So far I've had him about 3 months.

I've had several fish that were OK for months and one for years that then became problems and had to be moved.

Long term care of X-mas worm porities rocks for me means putting them in the frag tank. Too many things to pick at them in the display.
