Don't worry. Its plumbed into my mature 360g ;)

23 RBTA and 2 GBTA with purple tips. I have had the RBTAs for going on 6 years now. I have probably 6 or 7 more and a large gbta that I am going to try and remove from the display.

3 Perculas

Vortech mp40w (with sponge) and the return is a sea swirl. Paid $20 for the tank. Had everything else laying around including the sand, stand, halide (250w pheonix), ss, and vortech.

What do you think? I have had them in a 50g long frag tank and over the months it has turned into well a nem tank. I decided it was due time to give the clowns and nems thier own tank.

Awesome! I am glad to see your Perc's are hosting the RBTA's! I have wanted a RBTA, but after reading several threads on here I wasn't sure that my two perc's would ever host a RBTA!

nice setup im doing the same thing with a 14g rimless and i have a pair of snow flake clowns and 4 bta's as of now! what lights are you using?

Thanks! The percs went right in. Sometimes it just takes time and sometimes they won't ever host. Generally it will happen. These were hosting a frogspawn when I got them. They saw the nems, looked at me, looked at the nems, looked at me, nudged the nems, haven't left since  in fact when I carried the nems over to the new tank they stayed in one of the large rbtas even though it was out of water. They would die for them! :uzi:

Thanks! Your fish and nems will appreciate the dedicated environment. I have had these anemonies under one pheonix 250w hqi pendant running on an old icecap ballast for several months. Prior to that they were under the lights in my sig.

i have 2 PFO 250w hqi with ushio 20k im gonna be setting up one of my halides for the tank! hope it looks as good as yours soon!

That is so cool! Hopefully mine will take to the one I choose for them like that!

Do you target feed your nems?

Someday I wouldn't mind having a dedicated nem/clown tank, and it would probably be a 40b too!

It really depends. I will target feed them on occasion but I don't really do it regularly. The clowns feed them all the time but once in a while I put some mysis and plankton on them. When I do it is not a lot.

The 40b is a good size. Not too big and not too small.

TKERACER619 awesome.very nice RBTA

I think you will want to make sure to keep up on water changes. Nems are pretty sensitive in new tanks but as long as you keep ahead of the curve you should be fine.

Thanks :) The clowns have it good!

Thank you! No I haven't been diving but I was flipping through an oceans book I have and found my inspiration. I got tired of dealing with anemones stinging my sps and decided they would be so much better off in their own system.

Please keep us posted on how well your nems do under the LEDs. I had my nems under 3watt Crees and they didn't fair so well.

Picked up a new nem for the tank yesterday.
Its a Sunburst BTA. I Have been wanting one for several years. Could not pass up it up.

I would estimate the nem count at 24 RBTA, 4 GBTA with purple tips, and 1 Sunburst.

Being motivated I installed a t5 retro I never got around to installing. Its a 4 bulb 39w Tek. 2 Blue Plus and 2 Super Actnic. Seems to go well with the phoenix 14k pendant. This photo was a pretty good color but is a little dim. Best out of 30

This is a pic of the GBTA with purple tips. I took this one 4 years ago but is still the best shot I have (hates my cameras). I hope the Sunburst splits as fast as the RBTAs and not like this one :D

wow. very nice Sunburst. seem to have found a great spot to be highlighted. so the tank is lit by MH and T5?

Thanks! I put it on its own rock and moved the other rocks around just a tad to fit it. I don't think it could jump ship if it wanted other then letting go. Seems to have dug its foot in so I doubt its going anywhere. They seem to be happy anywhere in the tank.

They have been under a single halide for months maybe a year. Originally they were all under the lighting in my sig. Now they are under a 14k phoenix and B+ / SA T5s. Gives me a chance to look at them for longer then the 6 or so hours the halide has been running :)
