Shallow sand bed. Just put in the first bag. 2nd bag goes in today. Couldn't take a pic because it was too cloudy

40lbs of Fiji pink. I think I need another 20lbs. Then seed it with a bag of live sand. Don't mind the cords. Haven't made the canopy yet or the box for the apex. The box will hide the cords and open up for access.

The system is running. Fine tuned the main drain. It's finicky but its about dialed in. There are a couple spots where I can see bottom. I definitely can't run the gyres over 70%. The gyres are noisy. I thought I was prepared for the noise from all the reports. Hopefully a week will quiet them down.

The box that will house the apex and wires is almost finished. It will open from the top with a hinge on the bottom. Just waiting for Amazon to deliver a few more cable grommets.

We have a problem. I can't find the other 2 power supplies for my kessils. As you can see the canopy is partially built. The lights are a tad high from the water surface. I should be getting the piano hinge tomorrow. I'm also waiting on some more pvc elbows to connect the loc line.

Granted, some of these pumps were used on my frag tank. But all of this is now replaced with 2 gyres!

I had to make a base for my skimmer to accommodate for the height.
