Thank You pmjfuture.I want to get a fish or two to start a cycle.I was thinking a pair of clown fish.I am not sure if I added enough live rock to create enough bacteria to start a cycle.I can tell you the water is very clean.I do want to add some more live rock to cover a few spots.I may go to the LFS tomorrow to get some.

I mounted my controller and its power bar along with another power bar.I still need to install 3 GFI plugs

Liquid nails ! Thats a good one.Its construction adhesive I also used the brackets for the controller bar.You would be surprised how strong this stuff is.I used Velcro for the other stuff.I used a little for the controller bracket because I wanted the bracket to be sturdy.I did use screws for the controller power bar but I used some of the adhesive just to make sure it doesn't fall off.Water and electricity don't mix.I have used this stuff before to secure anything. It will bond to glass, metal, concrete, wood, plastic and its strong as hell.

Michika I didn't even plug it in.I am waiting for my lights to get in so I can set up everything. You can have the unit shut the lights off if its to hot.So far from what I read it looks nice and simple to use.I didn't want to bother to do things twice so I want to do it one shot.

The construction adhesive is a unique way to mount things:lol:

It's shaping up nicely!

I set up my kalk reactor and tested it out.It works fine I just plugged everything in to see if it pushes the water and doesn't siphon out my water storage container.I didn't hook it up to my controller.I still have to install some GFI plugs.I want my friend to do it since he has done it before. Here is a pic of my octopus kalk reactor. The pump on this thing is garbage,it wouldn't start up.I had to bang it on the floor to get it to work.I am not sure how long it will last or how much heat it will produce.

Nice trig:D I had to put a small pc strip on mine also. i've burned through my budget this month, so I have to wait till next payday to do the light and wood trim.

Yes it is but it works!Hop I liked your tank.I wanted to start with one fish for now triggers are pretty hardy. My fish is eating. He has yet to venture out past the left side of the tank.He is alone in a 8 ft tank.He must feel like a king.

Cute niger trigger!

I'll definitely be watching for your comments about the controller once your lights arrive.

Hop I got a very good price for my lights.Considering what other companies charge its half the cost.My skimmer guy pulled in a favor since he helps this guy out a lot.He gave me a great deal considering its 2x mh 150 watt bulbs and 4 xT5 bulbs with fans and moon lights. It also includes the bulbs.

I have the MH thanks to illegal plant growers in the area:lol: Actually I have the ballasts and bulbs, I just needed the hoods from the growers. Then I just need new bulbs for my VHO acts, the metal to make the structure and then the hardware to hang the rack and raise and lower it. I went to much too fast as it was and I'm paying for it today! I'm tired after getting everything running last night and then staying up till 3am working on my thesis:D

From what I read the controller does a lot.Its not cheap. The online LFS owner uses them and he recommended this unit to me.It only has 8 plugs. It comes with a level sensor so you can hook up an auto top off pump to one of your plugs.I already had the tunze osmolator witch I love.I can use this sensor to shut off my kalk reactor if to much water gets dosed due to a low amount of kalk in the reactor. You can also use the level sensor to shut off a pump if water is to low so you don't burn your pump.PH probe will control the kalk reactor.Right now with the sand that I am using my PH is good.I always had low PH in my old tank.It has a temp sensor witch you can program to turn your lights off if the temp gets to hot.Turn on a fan or a chiller. It keeps track of everything.there is a button if you want to check for that. The thing for your computer hook up is an extra and so is the orp probe and orp unit thing if you want to dose ozone.
