It works fine with the dart... Does it get hung up when spinning? If so take all the magnents out and stack them in your hand. The magnetic field will only let them stack one way. Then put them back in so that the polarity is opposite as you go around. Or in otherwords, take the first four off one end of the stack and put them in every other slot making sure that the polarity is the same. Then flip the roll of magnents over and put them in the rest of the holes. This way the polarity alternates as you go around the disk. It increases the motors pull on the drum and you should have no problems.

I spoke with the woman at ocean motions. She said that the model (motor)might not be good for the dart, she mentioned that I may need a different motor than the one I have. The drum does spin its when the pump is on it doesn't have enough power to rotate the drum. You can hear a click and I see that it only comes out from one pipe.

Check the magnents... You may have it up and running in ten minutes. Mine got shipped with the magnents in wrong. After I rotated them the way they were suposed to be, it worked perfect.

And mine did the clicking too. So I'm willing to bet an icy cool beverage on it:lol:

Or you could build one yourself!

Very funny Jnarowe. You are making me feel like I have money to throw away.I like what you did, very nice.I will take the thing apart (AGAIN) and try to get it running. It makes a dust storm.I will have to do something about that.Like maybe spend a small fortune on those fittings you sent me a pic of(Hop).

jnarowe spent some serious time having weatherson build that for weathersons tank:lol:

If you buy the shorter segment omniflex nozzles they are cheaper. You probably don't need the full sized ones with the way your plumbing is set up:D

yeah, it's not like I have that kind of talent! Weatherson is a freak...I wonder what metal area he lacks in so that he can be a sevant with acrylic? maybe he's a nose picker?

Yeah, off kilter would be me using the word "metal" instead of "mental".

OK Hop I took the thing apart(very easy) and hooked all the magnets together then put them back(every second hole). The magnets are pretty strong. The dam thing still doesn't work.I want the short version of those fittings.I will buy 8-10 of those things.I tried to call Paul at OM but got the answer machine. He had called me this morning but I was out.

I took some pics of the tank with live rock(the rock isn't live)Its a bit cloudy I did rinse the rock but you can never get everything.I tried to hide the fittings.I still have a good 30 to 40 pounds left(if not more) but I am not sure if I want to use it.
