Thats a pretty sweet plumbing setup you got there.
Thanks..actually the plumbing was Jthoa's idea..thanks shiromeda..i got bought the house because its nice and had a room beside the garage. hehehehe:D

I wasnt able to get it yet because someone barrowed my PH probe and I dont know what size is my probe. Ill try to get this friday. I will probably wont customized my CaRx. Im just gonna use a small acrylic box and put my probe in it. They say there is no diffrence at all. Im just avoiding leak in my reactor. But you can pm Jthao which one is it or he can show you a pic, he got his all set up. I just didnt have time during the holidays.

Great stuff on getting the tank up and running. I am always jealous when people can move their equipment into a seperate room :p

mpoletti, Thanks. my wife wont let me pu the tank in the formal dinning so the bar was the option and now my 7yr old son is bugging for goldfish. So, i got another reason to get another tank for him.hehhehe (i actally got him a100gal acrylic already) I love goldishes too. Its easy to take care of it but i rarely see someone who owns a really nice Oranda, Rancho, and Calico or a show level goldfish. I mean really quality goldishes which are body bigger than my fist...

kdblove_99..Thanks. They work pretty well and its kinda inexpensive.

I'll convince my godson to bug you in converting that above ground pool into a koi pond LOL. . .. so you'll have something to look at while mowing you back yard LOL. . .

hahaha he was bugging me to get some goldfishes so i got him a hundred gallon tank. Just in case he doesnt like it, dad is there to support and take the responsibility of the tank. (",)

heat???

heat???

with your sump in the garage on the floor, isnt your tank picking up the cold from the concert floor, are your heaters working over time,im in the process of setting up my 135g sump in my garage but will be off the floor by 1 1/2- 2f, just wondering around the heat, and next will be the cooling off for summer being that its in your garage,i see that you have a chiller, but if you sealed in your tank in a cabinet that heat and cooling wouldnt be as much of an issue?mike:rollface:

Thanks Brian. I got a 1000watts of heater and i dont know i about 1 1/2 off the floor theory. For some reason my garage doesnt heat up as much compare to other houses I've live in. Above my garage it's the game room, and its shaded by a tree. Its the nature of the design I wanted. I wanted to have more room to work on and my wife wont agree to bring the sump in the house, other big buckets and etc.

Hi guys, its been a while that i havnt update my thread. The reason is that my fish got sick. Everybody knows that we should Quarantine a new fish for 30days to make sure there is no bug will get in our reef tank. But guess what i was very impatient and my impulsiveness kicked in. I was doing my rounds to LFS on a Saturday afternoon and found a beautiful Red Sea Sailfin Tang and another Blue Tang from another LFS. I was too confident on these fishes and didnt put them in a QT . I started loosing fishes in 3days. I had Ich from the blue tang and Marine Velvet from the Red Sea Sailfin Tang. The last fish to go was my Dussumieri Tang. I was shattered. But its all my fault. I put my salinity down to less than 1.012 ( i dont know how low ) only 4 fishes survived.Im just waiting for another 20days then ill bring my salinity up slowly. I though I was patient enough but I guess not enough. I learned my lesson the hard way. It will take some time to bring my salinity up to normal, then i can have corals. Its embarassing to tell people this experience but I just dont want other people to make a the same mistake I did. Since I dont have nothing to do with my 300gal tank for the awhile. So, I set up a 150gal frag tank I got from John at Your Reef. Its sitting beside my 300. Everything is set up separately from from the other tank. Ill post it when im done. Let me say this again QT, QT, QT,QT,QT. One more time QT.

Sorry to hear about your lost Reed. Don't be embarrassed it has happened to the best of 'em. (me included). Let your experience serve as warning to all of us that patience critical in this hobby.

Hang in there!

Thanks Kevin..Im busy with my frag tank now. Im having trouble how im going to set up the 3 lumenarcs.. I dont wanna put a canopy on top of it. I just wanna hang It. Any idea?
