Just wondering, how often you do water changes and what type of salt are you using ?
Also how much water do you change.
Tank looks great!

Are the corner overflows quiet or loud? I'm also wondering if you can guess what kind of flow rate they have.

Great DIY skills. Simple is always better less chance something going wrong. An if there is mechanical problem it's an easy fix.

Yes, very quiet. A friend did the calculation and the sums of 3 overflow is the same as a barrel of 1 1/2 ", so it is enough to down a lot of water.

I wanted you to post some SPS photos please. You posted soft coral photos, which are nice, but I am an SPS guy, so hence I asked for SPS photos. :D

Some photos of the SPS. Sorry about the quality, the pictures were taken from my smart phone.

Thanks

Read through all the pages and I have to say absolutely brilliant design and execution. You are surely inspiring many of us with your setup.

Two questions...

1. In regards to the return, how many "volcano" pipes are there going up through the bottom of your tank?

2. I see that you have added a powerhead, why is that?

Thanks!

Hi MDJ !!

Thank you!

I have 2 pipes 1 inch in my tank, connected to two pumps
2700 l / h.

The powerhead, installed connected to a battery 12 v dc to ensure oxygenation of the aquarium in case of power outages.
