Hi Polina. Very nice your tank. I am cicling my new tank at the moment and I have 3 Zanclus ( I love Zanclus ) in quarentena to put there. I have 2 questions for you: 1 - did you have problems in mixing Zanclus and corals. If so what corals did they eat ? 2 - When you mixed the 2 zanclus did they figth ? Thanks

Hortense

1. There were no problems. Never.
2.The old zankl tried to kill the young zankl. And was exiled to SUMP for one day. He's a little more did not touch. Therefore, small grew up a bully. But there are no serious fights.

:crazy1: How frequently are they "playing" like this? 1% of the time ? 50% of the time ' or always ? I am not encouraged anymore to mix my zanclus . Don't you think your rock disposition glued on the backwall of the tank instead of making islands , could encourage figths because fishes are "forced " to see each others ? wouldn't it be better if they could find "security áreas " between the islands and could hide in holes in rocks ( which is very easy to do in a large tank like yours ) ?

The problem is, all I like is this aquascape. :)
The usual behavior of fish can be seen on these videos:
