Hey guys im super exited just picked up my new tank today after 10 weeks of gain crazy. Want to tank Karen at EA, this thing is gorgeous. Tank is a 62g in wall peninsula 30Lx24Wx20T. Now the hard part begins, deciding what equipment im going to use lol. Well this is the tank and this is what im planing to build pretty much. For lights im going LED just because of how much ventilation im going to have were the tank is i really done want overheating issues. Leaning towards the AI but dont know if i should go Vegas or Hydras, or even how many i will need. Thinking 1 should be enough though but idk. Tank will be mostly sps and zoas. Well enough talk here is the tank . I will start this build hopefully this week or next after i come back from vacation.

this is were the tank is going in. wall is 36L by 25w. Wife wanted a built into all feel, so i went with those dimms for the tank. She keeps changing opinion on what to do for the wall. Whether to put stand and cover with dry wall and put stainless steel doors , or to do SS doors and cover the wall with a bad *** glass tile. idk yet

Hydras are the new leds by AI. They have been out for a few months now, people say that they are going to be replacing the sols

SHOOOOOOT…I just noticed that I ordered 2 ext kits, instead of the actual hanging kits itself. IM not going use the ext kit because I’m installing the lights sideways instead on lengthwise . Just got off the phone with marinedep, they told me to call them when I received them so I can send them back for correct ones. Crap this blows. Ah well

would anyone know if that extension hanging kit that shows in the top pic of my order comes with the cables to hand as well or is it just the ext rail?. crap i think i messed up the order lol

1 i have metal studs, sucks btw
2 gonna have to move some outlet boxes i wasnt planning to. a well well here are some pics

Tearing out that first wall is tough but at least it will be exactly how you want it and you can reconfigure the space now. Should be a cool build.I'll tag along.
