I drilled holes. I think they are too big. Hardly any water flows so when I plug it with my thumb the water start to ruxh so fast that it makes too much noise. I'm going to THD to buy 6 or 8 of them and start experimenting with the right sized hole.

I drilled 1/2 holes. What pump do you have for your return I can't remember? For return do you just have thoes 2 pipes? Are they 1 1/2?

I have the two 1.5" drains and 2 1" returns fed by a Barracuda. I have the pump throtled back to about 2000 gph and you can hardly feel it coming out of the returns

Also... the two returns each feed two 3/4" outlets. I drilled my holes for a piece of air line and they are way too big.

Is it possible to you to post a picture of the foam spray?
I want to do something similar with that, but here in Mexico the products available are different, and I don´t want to use something that can damage my fish or coral health.

Or maybe if you can tell me if I can buy any foam that does not contain something dangerous.

Very nice project, congratulations.

Your aquascape is awesome!

I am working on something similar, but, my rocks must be lighter than everyone elses... I have gone bonkers scraping the foam back out to get them to sink! Did you test yours for bouyancy, or, just calculated it correctly?

You can order from Dr. Foster and Smith. They have a product called "Handi Foam" which is used to make waterfalls and other water features. http://www.drsfostersmith.com/produ...allpartial&Ntk=All&pc=1&N=62728&Ntt=foam&Np=1

There was also a tank of the month who did this; http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2007-06/totm/index.php

Your tank is totaly sick.... lock your rock work.....makes my 34 gal look a little small. Kind of like " my sump is bigger than your tank" lol

Cheers

Steve

No testing... I was pretty confident that I would be OK mainly because of the way it fir under the eurobracing and then up against the front panel.
