Looking good Kannin. I know you're running 250w DE's and you have 2 X 14K's on either end and a 10K in the middle but what brand are they? Any other supplementation or just the halides?

looks like the skimmer is still pulling out sand dust. FTS looks great!

No sand yet... I think it's pulling stuff from the partially cured Marco Rocks. Smells like it anyways.

It is a Guisemann fixture. I'm not sure if the bulbs themselves are still Guisemann or not. I am planning on T-5 supplementation but, I don't know colors or combinations yet. I do like the bluer / purple look as opposed to yellowish white. I don't know if I will supplement with alot of blue/purple or replace the center bulb and supplement with blue/white.

Thanks Anthony. I've seen your scape so I'll take that as a compliment. I tried to make it into a place that fish would be happy... think that it would please us too if that were the case. I mean... Some of the most beautiful places on Earth, are under water.

I love them. i got my first 128lb shipment for $311 including shipping... I got them in eight days and there wasn't a bad rock in the box. My second 52 lb shippment was $133 and was just as good.

That being said... I have read recently that he is having some issues... not delivering ontime and not communicating well. I would make sure he got that cleared up. I think he had some problems with a supplier.

Yeah, I just noticed that he has nothing at all on eBay or in his eBay store. Wonder if he's still in business. Email sent, but won't hold my breath...

He just addressed some issues here. I will probably order some base rock from him to set up my 65.

That's what I figured. He's a good guy but has to rely on not-so-reliable suppliers. Plus during the Winter months, supplies dwindle because it is hard to harvest rock. If you order during the Winter, you are going to have to be patient.
