My Bigger Piece of the Reef (LotsOPics)

no kidding. well, you will get comfortable with it soon enough and even though you had a little spike in your cycle, it seems to be fairly stable right now. I think that as long as you stay on top of water quality, you will make it through just fine. The fish are small anyway, so maybe enough bacteria is built up.

I don't know if I mentioned it before but, I did put 5 gallons from my other tank in it twice so i'm thinking that might have aided in the bacteria department. I don't know... maybe that's just stupid.

Yeah... In order to seed your tank with anything... You'd have to use the whole tree. I figured ten gallon couldn't hurt with the process. It might not have helped anything... I could just be lucky.

I doubt you are lucky. After standing toe-to-toe, I would more think you are assessing the risk and acting on the opportunity as you see fit.

Wow, those fish will have fun chasing each other around those pillars!

I can't wait until all that rock turns purple with coralline!

Last night... I sat and watched the 3 yellow tangs chase each other around the pillars and thru the caves for over 2 hours. They would only stop long enough to try to get one of the chromis's to clean them. For some reason... they think he's a cleaner wrasse.

Here's one of a tang cutting thru a tunnel...

Great new additions to the tank. Yea a little fast but it seems like they are doing quite well. Keep it up. Hows is that convict tang. He looks very nice.

He thinks he's a yellow tang. I had read that they were not too aggressive... so I really wanted one. In the last year... I have not seen one in the stores around here so I thought that I might have to buy one on line. Last weekend we went to buy the kids a hamster and they had there. I had to get it.

That looks awesome. Im curious to see how that rear wall looks when it all turns live and the nice green and/or coraline
