I think you are doing all you can. Keep adding the oto and rots too. Watch your ammonia.. It may go nuts. That water is reaaaally blueAre you sure it was 1/2 a teaspoon and not 1/2 a tablespoon?

The algae concentration in the larval tank needs to be that of the rotifer culture pretty much. It can be a little less but not much less. 2 drops would be good for like maybe just under a liter of culture water.

at high enough doses it would kill rots but at the dose you did I am not sure, sorry. My comment was for the guy doing only 2 drops of Rotifer Diet, not you...but you should always have phyto present when using rotifers. No food = non nutritious or dead rotifers = dead larvae.

They look really nice, but the video makes them look pale. Are they more colorful to the eye? If not, you need to stuff them full of Arcti-pods.

I have the question of the day... Can I feed my 5 day old larvae the frozen cube Rots? Only a few of course! Both of my Rot cultures just crashed, no idea why, and the only rots left are the few swiming around with my last little larvae. He's in a 1 litre jar so I put in 3 drops of Rotifer Diet in hopes they will multiply quick. My new batch of eggs should be hatching on the 24th so I'm hoping to recover a culture by then.
Any other suggested alternatives for the S-Rots at 5 days old?
