wow what a winner...i recieved tank very dissapionted...first off this tanK IS NOT 24X24X20....ITS 23.5 X 23.5 X19.5 NOW THAT IS A BIG MISTAKE because i ordered a sump that was 22.5 inches to fit right in there that cost me $350 cant take it back...and if i post it i wont get what i paid ..so im out $350...also my stand came banged up and scraped in 3 places...the main place being the front part that you can see from the helicopter as far as im concerned...The retailer suggested i did it ...now why would i pay $250 for a stand and 40 extra shipping the stand ...TO SCRAPE IT UP....he told me to bring the whole tank back to the store...and that was it...i did not relize the measurement if i had it would have gone back to brooklyn...even though it was a pain bringing it home...not only was i lied to about the stand being real wood...which it IS NOT....its compressed wood with a sheet of very sexy vineer ....thats it...and we all know what happens to compressed wood when it gets wet...to me CAD might as well mead CASH...AND DELIVERY...DOESNT MATTER HOW IT ARRIVES ...YOU GOTTA TAKE THE WHOLE THING OUT OF THE BOX AND INSPECT IT...WITH Thier PERFECT PACKING METHODS AND SUCH...i also asked about the plumbing kit...its a diy from homedepot..$100 pvc and locknuts...this guy totally lied to get a sale...and the plumbing is so tight in the overflow its jamming the box..so agian im out $75...these people were rude when i complained then after that i was ignored...its a nice tank...but its not really what i thought i was ordering...FROM THE SPECIFIED ADD...being a real wooden stand...a 24x24x20 tank with a decent overflow kit
this tank etc cost me around $800 not to mention the $$$ i lost due to their mistake...the guy told me so what i got guys spending 20,000 for a tank "why are you complaining...BECAUSE IM NOT SATISFIED WITH THIS PURCHASE....and the add is misinforming....if anyone bought this tank plz measure it and put a pic...because id be glad to...

im not even running my tank because of this overflow kit that they just JHONNYBLAZED togather...because it doesnot work so i dont know what they were testing in cali that took so long for the tank to get here....because nomatter which way you move this overflow the water comes right over it flooding the tank....because of this i may end up loosing more than $425...like all my live stock which is $$$$$ very high end pieces...

Hey, I have to leave for work so this will be quick, but the difference I see between your plumbing and mine on my 50 CAD is that your Durso looks way higher in the box than mine and mine doesn't have the air tube, it just has a little scored area on top to let air in. We only got sent the Durso and the PVC part of the return and had to do all the rest of the plumbing on our own (don't even get me started) but we made it work and the overflow actually drains and returns perfectly. Look at my build thread, I think I might have some pictures or explanations.

Yes, my tank measures the same as yours. I was a bit let down but I got their sump and built my own cabinet, so I didn't run into your problems there. I will say my TOTAL water volume is 45 gallons (tank and sump) which is quite a bit less than I thought it would be with a "50 gallon tank and 12 gallon sump." ???
