my deltec skimmer finally up

well, i thought i'd share some pics of my deltec apf600 and my tank. it's been sitting here for a couple of weeks due to heavy work load. this thing is a machine. I got it from Ed from K&M associates, who I found out is a new Deltec dealer in San Francisco. Found him on craigslist, gotta love craigslist.

I just dialed it back to skim less wet since it's on a 38 gallon for now. the 120 upgrade comes in next month...

here is semi full tank shot. lighting is SLS 4 bulb teklight. sorry for the bad pic. dont mind the possum wrasse, i'm trying to get my four line wrasse used to him...

THERE'S NOTHING LIKE A BRAND SPANKIN NEW SKIMMER AND IT PERFORMS IMMEDIATELY!!!

Nice tank! Performance should continue improving over next couple of weeks as it finishes breaking in.

Did you get your skimmer locally or from Deltec USA?

Are you gravity feeding or using a feed pump?

haha funny, drink the first cup... i think i'll pass on that.

ucandoit, i got it from a guy named ed. he said he just became one of doug's authorized dealers recently.

trmiv, i'm using a mag 2 to feed. the skimmer is next to my tank. i use the ball valve on the output to dial in the water level.

So you did end up getting it locally. I purchased all 4 of my skimmers that I owned from Ed at KM Associates as well, 2x Deltecs and 2x H&Ss. I'm actually thinking of upgrading on my AP600 to a APF600.
