My first sps Coral. Any tips or pointers?

Sps drags are about 12in from the 4 bulb t5 24w each bulb.

Just a quick question, has the flame angel showed any interest in the sps? There has been much debate on dwarf angels in reefs. Just wondered what your experiencing.

I just got the sps coral. But I will be posting updates on them. So we will have to see.

My flame actually leaves my acans and scolly and othe lps and zoas alone. But it does nip at my sps from time to time. It hasn't done any damage yet. But it is showing interest.... May have to go fishing.

If only they could eat mushrooms and Xenia, can't have the best of both worlds I guess.

SPS has a hard enough learning curve as is. Definitely start with ideal tank mates ( i'd keep an eye on that wandering rose anemone too) and be sure to treat every frag that goes in and observe carefully before adding anything else. Your placement appears to be good, just be sure they are getting enough indirect flow.
