Yeah, he is a cool little dood! That was kind of a crap picture, but he is still shy so really hard to get a good picture of. Thanks for the comment on the ric, I was pretty impressed myself, lol!!Like Mo. That ric shot is awesome!
What kind of starfish is that? Is it reef safe? I have a striped Serpent starfish but he hides so much I hardly see him at all.
Thanks Leo! Glad to see you back around these parts, you've been MIA.
Nice LFS and nice shot. Smart investment on their part though!!!
I'm subscribed and have an iPhone, bro.
I've been pretty busy, though. Sick (some fluish thing going on) and the wife and I have been house-hunting, finally. Lots of stuff going on with me, non-hobby related.
How's that Radion treating you? I followed your advice and got that MP10wES for my little tank. Will be getting another one soon since the noise is actually bearable. Thanks for the tip... just when I was getting sick of Vortechs. LOL
Nice shot.
My glass isn't clean enough to get shots like that. :lmao:
love this tank.
ange, the tank looks great and Mo looks happy!
I've just spent the entire night reading this thread, and eve tho I don't post much here (join date 2005 and this is my 196th post...lol), I have to say, your tank, pics and you are awesome. Just beautiful. I'm considering a cube, def subscribed.
Sorry about last post. I thought I was posting on the JBJ owners club thread. Please disregard.
Sorry,
Shawn
I've got the same skimmer (AquaMaxx HOB-I) and hand wash the collection cup once a week with warm water and toothbrush. I immediately see better collection results.I have a quick question about your skimmer that I haven't seen answered. How often do you clean it? And when you clean it... how thoroughly do you clean it (by this, i mean, completely disassemble and clean each piece).
I've been dumping the skimmate every day and I've got a build up of brown gunk on the inside of the cone. This seems like it might actually help, so I'm not sure when I should attempt to really clean that out more than running hot water through it when I empty the cup.
