My new 600 gallon reef

Finally, the most recent and final addition to the tank, a 7" Atlantic Blue tang that has been named "Little Blue" after Jonathan's ABT. Picked it up at the LFS for a great price.

Love your tank with all those diff. fish in there. Will have to go back thru this post and do alittle more reading. Impressive

I would guess that it got blown into the anemone. I just went down and looked at the tank, and with just the actinics on, I didn't see anything in the anemone and didn't see any remains in the tank.

Note to self: No carpet anemones in the tank. :eek2:

I learn something new everyday...

The Atlantic Blue looks tremendous...

very nice Chuck. They are beautiful fish.
Sure like it, but it heads to the cave every time I step in front of the tank....

Nice Atlantic Blue Chuck! And, a great "final" addition!
Thanks Bax, I hope to be able to get better pictures once I clean the tank. (again)

Thank you!. If I had it to do over again, I would do fewer cardinals and more anthias in the tank.

On a trip up to the twin cities this week, I found a neat little item in one of the LFS that I have been trying to find, or have built for me for some time. An 12x6x6 acrylic introduction tank that can be placed inside the main display protecting the new addition from the other tank mates. I wish that I would have found one of these years ago.

Cool introduction tank and a good deal at $29.99!

I use and old CPR HOT AquaFuge for that purpose. Or for smaller fish I float, well more like hang, a one gallon pastic jar.

But I thought the ABT was the last addition! ;)

LOL...at least I didn't buy the X-Large size they offered. I still have the the large Spotted Cheeks tang in the specimen tank that I would eventually like to put back in the big tank one of these days.

very nice box Chuck. It might be nice to get one that has a better attachment, or maybe fashion a hanger of some kind.

The different types of tops on the tanks will make it challenging. My first thought is to look for magnets which would make it work for all of the tanks.

that is a nice acrylic holder! I need one for my bisitch female clown that is beatin on my $50.00 flame!! If I don't eggcrate her she's gonna kill him. I'm boxing her up tonight and will let her out in a week
