What kind of setup do you have? They like tons of light, tons of flow,and REALLY clean water. Also, do you feed it? That helps a lot.

I feel like I'm witnessing a turf war... Honest to God, the purple based one just up and moved, starting sunday, and made a bee line for his nemesis "from back on the hill". I didn't do a water change or anything to unsettle it, and it didn't wander, it went straight there, like it knew where it was going. SO weird.

It seriously looks like the purple one is trying push the green one off a cliff!

I'm seeing the same thing with my red and blue carpets, i moved the red away and after 2days it was all over the blue.

Interesting. Have you tried moving the blue one? I'd be curious to see if it moves back or if the red gives chase.

Ok, well I guess it's time for an update. To be honest, these guys had me worried. The purple based went for a walk up the glass, and I was starting to get frustrated. I even considered selling them. WELL... I didn't. At least not yet. And I think I finally got them settled down. They've both been settled for over a week now, so here's hoping. Check it out!

And since the move I've been seeing more of this, which I believe is a good sign.

BTW, the second pic is from an actual camera instead of a cell phone, so if I get any better with it maybe I'll start posting some decent pics.
