My New SPS Reef

Love the 20g Denadai.
I´m actually moving right now and I´ll have to take down mit 220g tank.
40g is the biggest I can go.
What do you use for water movement ?

Roberto, beautiful stuff!

Love the pink millepora/hyacinthus.

Bigger is not always better and you´ve proved that successfully my friend.

Abraço,
André

If this was not an option would you have considered a herbie or bean animal overflow instead for a tank this size? What would be a good option?
.

Both of them is good, just use what you like

Just went through 25 pages, killer skills man. The systems, corals, style, all top notch.
Very inspiring.

Thank´s

really like this clean look setup.
Might do the same on my next setup (if the wife is going to allow me to upgrade)

love the color on these sps.
what is the name of the pink sps below?

thanks

Table Red, hyacinthus

there has got to be something you're not tellin' us! :)

What is this "hard work" you refer to. The meticulous cleaning?

For the new tank, what are you using for flow? No sump or equipment other than a heater and pump?

Glad to see you back Roberto.
Your last reef tank was a piece of art.

Roberto, for some reason, the pictures of your last tank are not visible on the previous pages. I was wondering if the link to the pictures was moved ?

Regards

For flow MP-40. Yes, just a heater and MP-40. Hard work is not just the cleaning but look every day to all corals and fishes and see if everything is fine....do some tests, WC, feed, etc

Glad to see you back Roberto.

I don´t know , the links was from imageshak...I need to see what´s happened

How do you like rimless over rurobraced?
Are you concerned about water spilling over during maintenance? Is it hard to keep glass clean? Are you concerned about fish jumping out?

Great job by the way.
One of my favorite reefs!

I like rimless , the tank looks awesome. I never had water splilling here. It´s not hard, but you need to clean very often. When some fish want to kill himself, he will do it :D

Hey dena, how are you liking those leds? What brand are u using?. Can you post fts of new tank please

I´m using 1x Vega, 80% blue and 50% white and the only problem is that corals are without tissue in the shadow area. Maybe I need another fixture.

Verry nice...whats your setting on your vega and how high awl..thanks great job my friend

I´m using 1x Vega, 80% blue and 50% white. 6" from the water surface

I will post some pics and one video this weekend....this nano completed more than one year....it´s time for another challenge...a new reef will born this weekend :uzi:

Best Regards

Hi guys,

This is my new tank. Everything that was in my nano, now are in the new tank

I just bought a powder blue and the convict tang

Tank : 70G - 47x20x18

I´m using just one vega now, buy I´m going to buy 2x Hydra 52 and a BK mini 180 next month

The tank has just 10 days

Best Regards

As always very simplistic and beautiful. Is there any aggression between your tangs
because of lack of hiding places due to minimal rockwork?

Nice Denadai.

something in leather coral will not let me like it, maybe the large relative Acropora for now.

Congratulations as always, clean and beautiful
