My New SPS Reef

Tank is looking nice,
What is that PINK color coral which are of 04 pcs on the second island from the left.

Looking great Denadai! are you only using one tunze 6045 for the flow, is that enough for your tank? I have 4 of them in my 75gal, I still feel like I need more flow to avoid dead spots. what's the secret? please do share :) thanks

Beyond 6045 I have one MP 10. MP 10 spread the water all over the tank

On the left is a hot pink birdnest and on the right is a paradise birdnest, he was pink / green but now is only pink :sad2:

Hello,

I´m using carib sea

I´m just doing water changes and dosing two parts.

I want to keep this reef as simples as possible. I will try to keep the reef without aa, vodka and etc

Best Regards

Looking good Denadai. Your coral colours look very good too. I have similar corals and the corals arent as good yet. But I know I have a while to go before the phosphates are taken out and nitrates start reducing. Please keep up the regular updates. :)

This is not true, my No3 is 0 or close

The best thing to do is put the siporax in a clean spot inside the sump

My siporax are after the water pass through a shark bag. You don´t need any maintenance if you do the right thing. If you want, you can wash them sometimes, but with aquarium water only

Best Regards

Very nice my friend. I see you have lots of colour on your SPS too; excellent progress! :bounce1:

Do post some more photos. I'd love to see closeup of individual frags to see the depth of colour etc.

Thank you.

Thanks four your answer about the siporax..

Can you explain me more about the "dosing two part" ?

Sorry I'm newbie, but I want to start my first aquarium with SPS's... In fact I already read all post of Rodrigo and Sahin...
(My English is not very good but I try to do best... Regards from Mexico )

ChiDONEt: A two part is simply a liquid form of Calcium and Alk dosed either manually or via an automatic doser. It is another way of maintaining Ca+Alk instead of using a calcium reactor method.

Examples of commercial two parts are C-Balance or B-Ionic.

Examples of DIY two part is Calcium chloride (I think ) and Sodium Bicarbonate.

Or look into balling lite. Search in google.
