well the tank showed up, and i instantly was not impressed. found it unwrapped on its side on the floor, with two tanks on top of it. :o

it had a scratch, uneven silicone, missing bulkheads and the back vinyl was not put on properly. I have spoken to miracles and they are going to be fixing it before i pay the second half for it. Its nice, but not what i paid nice.

heres a few pics of the issue areas.

found it sitting on its right end, with two tanks on top of it. nothing protecting it, no wrap, NOTHING.

I do need to say that Nathan at miracles has been great. derek is a bit tough to get a hold of sometimes, but just got off the phone with Nathan and hes is going to get it picked up and fixed for me. Much more relaxed knowing this. I am going to go and meet them when its back, and check out their shop and show them my concerns with the tank. if they follow through, they will for sure get my business again, even with this little speed bump.

looks great (I assume they took care of your tank properly).

I may have missed it but what are the dimensions and if you dont mind me asking, how much was it?

Its a 36x24x16.

I ran into a few hiccups but they were quick and had it fixed in a week. I dont think it would be right for me to give out their pricing, as its different for everyone, but ill say that it was pushing 1K

The first coat of stain is on the tank, second tomorrow then clear and i can put the tank back on it. Plumb my lines, wire and set it all up, and turn it on!

Following along, really nice build and I too like the sliding doors - great job - but it needs water soon.

I like this build man. One of my favorite features is the fact that your stand is bigger than your tank.. and it gives you room to set essentials on. Very cool looking tank.

Thanks everybody for the nice comments!

Ive picked up 90% of my plumbing parts this week. I need to order things like loc-line and setup a drain, as well as glue the sump baffles.

I ran my power into the roof yesterday.
