My Tank Is Up And Running!!!

Everything's really opening up now! :D I can't believe how long the "fingers" (not sure if that's what you call them) on the leather are! probably sticking out 1-1.5" WOW

Also found out that the purple stuff I got are actually Green Star polyps. Crazy how dif. stuff looks when it's opened up.

Well, did my first water change today. What a pain in the butt! I'm def. going to figure out a better way to do it.

I had a request for a full tank shot, so once the tank clears up I'll try to get a good one posted.

Curse your evil plot! :D

Okay here's a full tank shot. It's kind of wide but so is the tank. If I resize it smaller then you can't really see anything that well. The leather isn't quite opened up all the way either.

Okay without further adue, here we go!

I'm not really that happy with how the rock work looks either. I'm thinking about rearranging it. Anyone have any suggestions?

You could try to make a couple islands and if you have along piece bridge it together with that.

Otherwise it looks good!

Just because Travis is trying to run my thread into the ground I'm going to post pictures! Lots and Lots of pictures! :D

Here's a recent picture of my toadstool leather. It's got tons of character. Every time I look at it, it looks different. I can see why your wife didn't want to get rid of it Jeff! :D

Here's a bunch of differnt zoo's on a rock. I think I"m going to trim the brown ones back that are up front in the picture. They're kind of choking out the better looking ones. Anybody want some?

Here's some more zoos that fell off that bigger rock when I was moving things around. I stuck them in a hole in some rock and now they're doing pretty good.

And Last but certainly not least. A kenya tree Frag. This has probably doubled in size since I picked it up. Only had it about a week and a half.

Oops forgot one more thing. What is this stuff? Is it coraline growing? You can see some more in the kenya tree picture. It's on the rock straight up from the kenya tree.

Those little spiral things are a type of snail. I can't remember the name. You will see what looks like a spider web coming out of them at times. They spread pretty quickly. They are not dangerous but they can be come a nuisance.
