so what's is everyone thinking of buying? Just snails or anything from keys critters?
I am looking to get the cleanup crew for the 240...but it will consist of more than just snails.
Are we going to try and get up a $500 order to get the club price breaks or just try and group our order no matter how much?
I could be in for around $100. Depends how they break down the prices.

I sent a e-mail to Florida pets to see what he does have in and what he can do for us. Also they have free shipping over $50 if what I am reading is right if you live in Alabama. I am waiting to hear back from him.

I am waiting to hear back from Florida Pets. I talked with him this morning and he is willing to work with us. When I get the link it will be posted on our NARC web site for the Club Discounts and FREE Shipping

i checked their website, and it seemed like they were 'out of stock' on a lot of things--perchance i was at the wrong site? or they haven't updated? or they are in stock, but only if you know the secret password?!

No secret password or anything. She is working on a special club offer. I understand that they are restocking and be able to offer us a variety of livestock shortly. It may not get here in time for the December meeting, but they are willing to ship to our individual homes without additional shipping charges. Sounds like a great deal to me.

Some of the items we normally carry may no longer be as readily available. I hope to make another trip to the Keys before properties close. If the Keys trip happens Dec. 1st + 2nd, we should have plenty of the usual FloridaPets items. If the trip does not take place, we will do are best to order what we can and offer different items.
We would like to schedule a group sale with NARC. Tentatively the sale would start Sunday December 3rd and run through Saturday December 9th. A link will be provide to NARC for a special sale page that will include only instock items and will be greatly discounted for NARC only. The link should be added to the NARC site or e-mail to members. Normally, residents of Alabama receive free shipping on orders over $50.00, but during the special sale week we will also lower the minimum order to $25.00 for free shipping.

don't know if this should be new thread or not, but i am going to be getting some shrimp and crabs not listed at florida pets, and i wanted to know if anyone else needed something from 'not there.' i am flexible on time, but i'm itching to start adding things!

How long do you think these could stay in the box before putting them in the tank? I would have to have these shipped to my work, which will be about 6-7 hours after delivery before I could get them home...do you think this would be too long?
