Naso lip spots - need I worry?

This 5" naso arrived from Diver's Den 2 weeks ago. Eating immediately, fat, and appears very healthy except this evening I noticed black spots on the lips and gill plates. All appear flat without textural change. Fish is acting fine. All other fish OK.
Anything you would do or watchful waiting.

Three weeks later and the fish continues to do well though new spots are developing. Some are now located on the pectoral fins and abdominal area.

I thought they may be stings from a coral or anemone but I have never observed it pick on anything but the rock and glass. Ideas any one?

Anyone else ever seen this? I think my Naso might be developing the same thing.

Never seen it or be watchfull enough...

My naso also have some of those spots but more towards his dosal fins. Their skin coloration is so pronounce that even the slightist spots are easily seen such as your photos of your naso. He has had it since day one of 3 months ago. He has been throught a month of qt and still has it in my display. I think it is harmless but also tagging along to see if there are any ill effects to this.

hmm interesting, I have seen that as result to anemone sting. let us know how it goes.

My naso has approx 8 spots on his body that look like this, it has also stopped eating.
