Need advice on thickness of Acrylic for new Tank

I am Planning a 96Lx36wx32H tank. I have gotten quotes for both 3/4inch and 1 inch acrylic. I was told 3/4 would be fine but I am pushing the limit with 3/4 because of the height. Any thoughts out there? any similar situations?

for a tank that size i would use the 1" acrylic. you will have less problems with it bowing out on you.
