I've got a 70 gal Oceanic Tech w/ Zoos and softies. I just switched from T5's to MH and the zoos love it. So does the algae.

I have a LM Blenny already. I was thinkin Scopas or Kole tang.

Opinions? Other options?

P.S. had a foxface, loved eating algae AND zoos, so he had to go.

Kole tang would be about the only surgeonfish I'd add to a tank that size. I wouldnt expect it to actually take care of the problem for you, either, but it may help (and much better choice than the scopas for algae treatment). I'd lean more on husbandry to get rid of algae if that's your real hope.

I'm doing my part there. I do 10gal water changes EVERY week, run a filter bag, clean the skimmer every few days. I think the tank has some of the "new tank" break in going on too as it equillibrates and matures. And truth be told, the algae isn't that bad, it's just too hard to prune myself. I figured if I had a helper or two that could nip at a few problem spots, things would look that much nicer.

Thanks for the help. I'm thinkin Kole tang. If he gets too big, I can always move it to my other tank.
