Hi folks,
this is my anemone big bad voodoo daddy. I have had him for maybe 6-8 months and as far as I can tell he is doin awesome. however to be completely honest I am not really sure what type of anemone he is. I have had mixed answers and the majority say hatian reef anemone. that is how he got his name. but never was 100% sure of it. so, I ask, anybody know positively what type of anemone it is? when I purchased it was small, white with green tips. I assume the white was from poor lighting but as you can see it has gained color back. any help would be appreciated

It looks like a BTA with long tentacles (which is actually pretty common). Does it have white lines around its mouth?

I don't think I have ever noticed any, kinda hard to tell without moving a few tentacles out of the way

I just wanted to add this. by all means I am not an expert at all on anenomes. but these are two pics of my nem. first is the day I purchased from lfs on march 1st of this year. you can see it is totaly bleached, second is the same shot from yesterday. just wanted to point out the drastic difference in color and size.. I use 2, 48 inch 10000k led lights. I am not sure if they are the best in the world, I do admit I did purchase the lower priced models. But for anyone interested in their first anemone, with good lighting and proper water parameters. these lfs bought nems can easily be brought back to good health.
