Very nice. My best advice is to skip the anemone. They really need metal halides to thrive, and they get too big for that tank. If it decides to go on a walkabout it could sting all your corals. If it goes south on you it can wipe out the tank..they are very sensitive to changes. And just so you know..Oscellaris clowns generally do not take to them..which would be the best option size-wise for that tank.Maroons, and true percs generally like them..but they get pretty big for a 22.

Thats a cool tank... call me dumb but I have never heard of a 22g MJ delphin tank.. where can I get some info about that tank? Google didnt turn up anything for me..

Apparently MJ Delphin is a local company (NJ) where I used to live. The shop that I got this tank from has several products from this guy from pumps to heaters to various sized tanks/stands. From what I have seen so far, everything he has is quite nice but might be a bit $$ compared to other brands.

Ok so if I were to skip the anemone all together ....

What fish would go well with the damsel? I do plan to get a YWG -Could I add 2 small percs and just let them roam the tank and hopefully host with some zoo's or something?

Also in terms of shrimp ... I loved my old cleaner shrimp (RIP) so I definitely plan to get another one of those guys but what about CBS and other types. How well would they get along in that size tank?

Thanks

Have a 12 gal Aquapod, with 10 snails, 1 emerald crab, 1 peppermint shrimp, 1 waving hand xenia, 1 purple tree gorgonian, 1 red sponge with yellow zoo and 1 bubble tip anemone. So far so good. had a percula clown, he got ich, but he hosted just fine so as far as a percula clown hosting a bta don't listen to anyone, and you don't need high lighting for a bta. After reading more about the sponge and anemone, I would say they are tough, but hey if you want a challenge then go for it.

We decided to go for it ....

Our LFS got a big shipment in so we went to check it out ...

With our pockets a bit lighter we have some new additions (and subtraction :( ) from our tank.

First off is our small coral frag. I believe its a branching hammer -- can anyone verify?

And the most exciting addition were 2 clowns and a RBTA that I am HOPING they will host with -- got my fingers crossed.

The 2 wouldnt keep still long enough for a pic but the RBTA seems happy. After a 2 hr acclimation it was placed into the tank very close to where it is now and it seemed to like the area and decided to wedge into the rocks ...

If you look at the bottom right side you can see a tip that is a "Y" -- that normal ?

Nice closeup shot ...

But the sad part is that our Yellow Tail Blue Damsel didnt like her new house guests and went on a ramming rampage so she is over in the frag tank for some solitary confinement -- hopefully I can find her a nice new home.
