Is that a Ponape birdsnest? I've asked you 47 times now...what camera and lens do you use?

It is a Ponape, it was a tiny little frag I picked up for around 45.00 and is growing nicely.

These (The images posted yesterday) were all taken quickly in camera JPEGS with a Nikon D3 and 105mm macro lens. It depends on the day which camera body/lens I am using.

I think I have the same POnape from Jeremy? My hasn't colored up like yours. What am I doing wrong? Mine is very pale in color. I have it and inch or two off the bottom of the tank with fairly low flow. I'v been stepping up my water changes doing 45 gallons every week. I'm hoping that this helps things.

Mine is about 10 inches under the surface with a 250w halide not directly above it...I would say it is in rather high light though and moderate to high flow. It has grown considerably since I bought it from Randy at ARC...I do not know the lineage beyond that, just that I waited quite a while for his to grow out so he would frag me a piece.

You can kind of see its placement in this shot, its OOF upper right.

The returns from the cellar are directly above this placement, the 250w bulb is centered and the coral is toward what I consider the back glass.

Need to correct myself, that coral is about 18" under the surface and not 10" under the surface. I have not done PAR readings since changing the outer two lights from 400w to 250's but would still guess the PAR in that portion of the tank to be what most would consider high to moderately high.

Oh and thanks everyone, I need to take a couple shots with just the actenic LED's on...really makes quite a different look.
