Sweet, I'm working on my 300DD now also where did you get you intake strainers?
Keep us posted on what you did with your overflows. I'm thinking of just cutting mine down and screening the overflow with gutter gard. you should be able to see my overflows when i'm done so what they look like won't matter.

the strainers i got from u.s plastic corp they were like 9.00 each for the two inch
do yoou have the standard overflows
my overflows are square becouse i did 2' drain and 1.5' return in each one all i did too mine is cut out every outher teeth on the inside for now i may cut more teeth in the front if i decide to trun my pump up more.

Also put a deposit on two new fish today

been on the fench for a wile about the at but found one at a local fs that has had him for about 6 weeks eating great and no spots.
eats great so far hope it will continue

well hear is a little update
my wife came home today to find about 40 gallon of water on the floor (yes the dt overflowed) did not do any damage just jot the new rug wet. thank you for tile floors so after the clean up could not find any reason that the tank would have overflowed started the pump back up and let it run did not change a thing about two hours after restarting the pump still looking for the problem i looked in my filter to find my blenny in my fliter sock the only thing that i can think of is the valve in the drain was not open enough too let the blenny through and coused the overflow so now the valve are wide open and the screens ordered for the drains that was one thing that i needed to order and forgot my fault but everthing is well.
p.s
the at still has a little trace of ich but being a great trooper eats like apig everthing i put in the tank he eats.
reefkeeper hooked up and working just have to figure out how to download it to my phone :crazy1:

well as some you know i have been dealing with ich sense i got the acheilles it spread to the hippo,sailfin and the strawberry baslet and the cbbf.not to say the least i have tried everthing i can think of overfeeding like crazy,food socked with garlic,turned the skimmer up,and 50 gallon watter changes everyweek and started with selcon.well after two days with no lights on we have lost the acheilles and the strawberry baslet looks like everyone is starting to get better but only time will tell.
