I have a 58 gallon reef tank that has 250 watt Metal Halides as well as 2-20 watt URI Super Actinic Supplements over the tank. It has been set up for about three months now and all the perimeters for Phosphates,Nitrate, and Ammonia and Nitrites are 0. The PH is 8.3.
I bought a Bubble Tip Anenome yesterday and he was looking fine after I acclimated him to the tank.
Today I came into my office where the tank is and he has moved and shrunk down and you can see his mouth is open and his inner mouth is sticking out and it almost looks like white spaghetti coming out of him.
Any suggestions or solutions as to why this has happened?
Should I get him out of there or wait until tomorrow to see if he comes back around?
Obviously I don't want him to foul the tank since I have several Soft Corals in there.
