New camera, new pics

Thanks guys. I'm not trying to show off the tank, there's nothing to show off, it's a mess atm. I am just messing around with this stuff. Photoshop is a PITA. I think I can just use the freebie editing program that came with the camera to start off.

Nic pictures. Try GIMP as an alternative to photoshop. Same functionality and free. If you google, there are a lot of tutorials on how to use various features and plugins also.

I already have Photoshop and I have the manual and some tutorials. I just need to find some time to play around with it.

Jeff,

Nice pics. Are you using a tripod to take those photos.
Not the ones I posted in this thread. i literally took pics with the camera right out of the box. I shot those pix before the battery went dead. I do have a tripod and I'm sure that it will help take even better pix when I use it.

Very nice, love the cloves.
How are the cloves you got from me doing?
The ones i got from you Linda are doing great. The frag has more then doubled in size. They dont look really blue in my tank but more of a pastel lavender color. I still like them a lot. I'll try to get a pic when I get home from work.
