Great tank Gary. I really love the look of it.

Question for you. I'm thinking of going with a similar or same size peninsula as well in the near furture and was wondering about your thought on a 36" wide instead of 30"? In your opinion would it be better, worse, same, or just a matter of taste?

wider is better.

Steve- the crater by the fish's eye is called a nare which part of a fish's anatomy. In these pics it may be enlarged for reasons related to the gill spike abrasion. Some new pix.

Henry- the horrida looks fantastic but it has yet to grow much.
Kenneth- I get asked that question all of the time. Angelfish can be very destructive in a reef aquarium. However, if you research species compatibility and their requirements it can be done.
