Haddoni is a sand dwelling anemone. They prefer to bury their foot at the base of a rock at the sand rock interface. I've seen and read this, but don't have haddoni personally. There are some frequent posters here who can answer any other questions you might have about the care of this species. I do know they can pack a strong sting, and though they don't wander around much once they are happy in a location, they have been known to eat fish on occasion. Furthermore, haddoni don't require the very high water flow that gigantea prefers and are not as demanding in terms of light intensity.
What kind of fish do you have?i have a haddoni for 2 weeks now and it only moved once also i've lost 2 fish i belive it was dinner for the carpet also get ready to be moving things around because once they setle in they will expand.
wt#???i think mine was a carpet saddle? :fish2:
....
Carefull...actually I think mine was a carpet saddle? :fish2:
wt#???
Aaaahhhh. That makes more sense. I don't think I've heard it referred to as a saddle carpet but have heard saddle nem. I didn't do the long division.
I have a 75 gallon but it has only been in service for about 2 months the fish I have in my 30 gal is 2 clowns a orange spotted goby and a cleaner shrimp
hey sorry to thread highjack but i have 130 watts of light. would this be good for a haddoni?....what lights do u have?
Bump. Back on topic
Then I wouldn't be too concerned about it outgrowing it, when it does your 75 should be ready.
I wouldn't be surprised if you end up losing the orange spotted goby -- I have only lost 2 fish to my haddonis, and one was a yellow watchman goby.
