New Exhibit in Chatty Aquarium

Well, I took my In-Laws to the Chattanooga Aquarium yesterday... They had a new exhibit I don't remember seeing when we went this spring... It was mainly SeaHorses and Dragons, but they also had some reef fish as well... Thought I'd share some of the pics I took... My stupid battery ran out in the camera again... Ashley didn't tell me we were going until a couple hours before we left...

Canon 100mm Macro... That was the only one I brought... I'm still saving for my new lense...

With pics like that you may not want another one for a while. How does it work as a "walking around" landscape lense?

It takes pretty good pictures with really nice sharpness toward the center of the picture or wherever your focal point is, but there is distortion toward the outer area... You also have to be a fair distance away from the subject/s in order to keep them in the frame... I have to stand across my livingroom to get a Full Tank shot of my 58g... I was on a balcony when I took this pic of Ashley and her family...

I wouldn't call it a true walk around lens... That is the lens I'm saving for... However, its great for taking pics of the tank and whatnot...
