Brought a one-spot foxface home yesterday. She was grey and scary looking while drip acclimation. Colored up beautifully within a few hours. She was accepted by her new family. My Maroon even followed her around a little. Nothing aggressive at all.
Evening feeding came and she stayed hidden. Lots of caves in the tank and I couldn't find her at all. This morning she had the camouflage coloring again, and stays in the back. I know it can take a bit to adapt and start eating, but other than time, can I do anything?
Does this breed typically go sleep in a cave for night and color up during the day?
She's out now (10:00am) and looks fantastic and active.
