New gigantea

I would continue to use age tank water. I have always use tank water to do water change and new mix salt into my DT.
Increase dose of Cipro to 500 mg/10 gal. You can see if you can get Septra and use this instead.
Ear drop meds will not help because you don't have enough to make any different. The whole 5 ml bottle will not be enough for 1 gal.

Okay, I want to do another dose of antibiotic. Is it okay if I start using dechlorinated tap mixed with display water since its hard to always take 5-10 gallons a day out my display which is only 34 gallons and I don't always have enough RO water made.

Has the nem ever reinflated? If it hasn't, I don't think additional treatment will help as it's not getting the antibiotics into its body. Can you share photos of what it looks like when it looks its "best"? This will allow us to give you a better assessment.

About the ear drops what If i take the nem out of the water for a short period of time and put drops in his mouth, and then put him back in the water after maybe 15 min when the meds are absorbed.

No unfortunately then nem never inflated in the HT, it was only inflated in the display tank. That why I think maybe directly putting ear drops into Its mouth will force them hem to get some form of treatment.

as a side point is it alright to dose cipro during the day time cycle (would it even be effective or would the light break it down in a short while) because right now I tested for ammonia and its .25, so I wana do a water change but Im wondering if its worth adding antibiotics with the WC.

I think its safe to say its dead or to no point of return. Even though the nem looked sick in the store I thought cipro was a miracle treatment. Next time i'll buy a healthy specimen.
Heres a pic

It doesn't smell bad, but some tentacles come off when I was touching it. B

Antibiotic does not get break doe. That fast. Even in full sun it take several hrs to break down 50% of the med

If the tentacles are falling off, meaning the nem is falling apart, then it's dead. Sorry for your loss.

Yes I too think it is gone to the reef in the sky.
Anemone under treatment does not smell, which is the smell of decaying due to bacterial. They can fall apart without smelling much at all.

thanks for the help guys, yeah its dead. I think it died for these two reasons: -I didnt acclimate it long enough to the HT as it didnt inflate once under treatment, just in the display and I used brand new ASW so even with water changes there were problems with ammonia. For future reference Im curious about giving gigs an oral treatment by taking them out of the water and putting ear drops directly into their mouth.
