cato,

Where are you sourcing your ORA corals from?

Puppy Center- West Hartford

Back on page 4 , in center of the pic of the "Smorgasboarg" . The green base that turns yellow up to purplish blue tips. What is the name of this frag ? Thanks. I picked it up with the P.Plasma and noone at the store knows it's name.

I think it's the pearlberry

Yep, it's the pearlberry. Sweet coral. I can see why it's so popular. :)

That pic looks good. Now if it will only keep the electric green. If it does it will rock.

It has lost some of it's glow already. :( Still nice though. I'll try and snap some pics tonight.

OK folks, hear me when I say "these pics are now photoshopped!". :D Photoshopping is the only way I can try to get you as accurate colors as possible. Notice the blue hue is less. If they are not EXACT then sue me :). It's the best I can do. Anyway, this piece was def more florescent the day I got it :( but I still love it! :) and I'm confident it's color will return. ;)

Funny thing is...this pic looks different on different monitors. On my laptop at work it looks like crap. Def looks better in person than on my screen now. It has good deep color just doesn't glow as much. IDK Maybe I'll just scrap the whole photoshop thing as I have no clue what I'm doing and still can't produce a true representation of color. The blue tips are accurate but the green is greener. IDK

sweet peices, Im not to thrilled with the Borealis, but im hoping to get my bellina and german green blue polyp fri. i may take a Borealis if i like it.

Looks EXACTLY like the roscoes and the tenuis to me, just a fancy new name....

I'm kinda with you on that... That being said, I just ordered one since my LFS is giving me a really good price on ORA stuff. I've got a tenuis and a Roscoes in similar lighting and flow in the same tank. While they're similar, the colors do vary. Hopefully even if all 3 are A. tenuis they'll all be a different coloration.

I do not believe the PE on a tenuis is quite like that. I have never seen one that bushy. JMO

This pic looks sweet. The most impressive photo I have seen of it so far. Again.......JMO.

Looks like the same type of polyps found on the ORA Blue Bottle Brush from a few years back.
